POKOTABI / PLACES WORTH A DETOUR
Slow Cafe
Slow Cafe’s weekly lunch comes with a selection of small side dishes, offering a chance to enjoy several flavours alongside the main. The menu also includes curry, desserts and coffee.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
One pleasure of lunch at Slow Cafe is the selection of small side dishes that accompanies the weekly menu. Visitors say the sides are served alongside the main, making it possible to sample several flavours in one meal. It also sounds like a good option for a lunch with a generous helping of vegetables.
One week, the sides reportedly included basil spring rolls, potato gratin, salted mackerel and squid—dishes substantial enough to serve as mains in their own right. On another day, the main was yangnyeom chicken. The changing menu brings a different combination to look forward to each week.
Visitors have also enjoyed curry outside the weekly lunch. Some mention finishing with dessert and coffee, while cranberry scones and gâteau au chocolat with iced tea have also featured among the menu options.
Dine-in seating is available, and one visitor reported eating with a pet on the terrace. Alongside a meal, there is the option to linger over coffee or something sweet.
